In the event of landline and cell phone disruption, please use the FPMA email and message blog systems to help communicate with the association and fellow pest management professionals. Recent experience through Katrina showed that while voice circuits may be overloaded, it may possible to

• transmit data in the form of emails.  Through these systems, you can:
• make offers of assistance: loaning chain saws, generators, ice, office space, product and equipment, etc.
• request specific forms of assistance for your home and business
• check on and report the safety and status of members in affected areas
• updates on regional meeting and association business
• access emergency management and local government resources
